Les Cuvées Ermitage
60% shiraz, 30% grenache and 10% cabernet sauvignon. Vines aged over 30 years.
This wine owes its structure to a long maceration (over 3 weeks)wht grapes picked at phenolic maturity (brown pips).
Once the fermentation is overi it is raised in recycled oak barrels for up to one year before being belndend in vats before bottling.
This remarkable Red wine has obtained a series of medals and awards, amongst which the Bronze Award and 2 stars in hte hachette Guide 2007 as the best "coup de coeur" art an affordable price.
It has also been distinguisheg by the international Decanter Wine awards in 2007.
We only elaborate this very fine wine when we are pleased with the vintage: therefor we did not present one in 2005.
The 2003 vintage is at its peak now whereas the 2004 is still a bit young but will age beautifully. The 2006 vintage deserves to be laid down for a few years.
